The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that all public parking areas in Dubai will be free of charge on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in celebration of the New Year’s holiday. However, charges will still apply for multi-storey parking facilities. Paid parking services will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
In addition, the RTA shared updates on operating hours for its services during the New Year’s holiday. Dubai Metro will run continuously for over 43 hours, starting from 5:00 AM on December 31, 2024, until the end of January 1, 2025. Similarly, Dubai Tram will operate from 6:00 AM on December 31, 2024, until 1:00 AM on January 2, 2025.
