The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work, in partnership with the Sharjah Volunteer Centre, has launched a new community initiative titled “12 Challenges in 12 Months.” The program’s first challenge for January, “Best Volunteer Idea,” is now open for participation.
This initiative aims to promote a culture of volunteerism by encouraging individuals and organizations to propose innovative ideas that support sustainable community development. What makes this initiative unique is its structure: monthly challenges, each centered around a specific theme and hashtag, invite the community to engage in a collaborative and non-competitive manner. This approach seeks to nurture a spirit of dedication and selflessness in serving the community.
The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work and the Sharjah Volunteer Centre have urged community members to participate in the first challenge by submitting creative and impactful ideas that enhance community welfare.
